Hi. I’m Joseph, the person in the house that likes to write stories. Well, I can’t say that. My sister Hava writes stories, too. I could say I’m the person in this house that likes to write funny stories. My stories have more jokes than Hava’s.
I’ve been writing a series with four stories. So far, one of them is done. Enjoy!
AGAINST HEROBRINE COMPANY
CHAPTER 1
I’m a plant. Do you believe me? Probably no. But we’ll see. I AM a plant.
“Mom, can I go on Minecraft” I asked. “Sure,” replied my mom. My name is Philip. I’m twelve. Minecraft is my favorite video-game by far. I go on this server called Crazypig. There are different belts. I am a Crazypig black belt. I’ve been on since I was ten. I logged on to the Minecraft launcher. It takes FOREVER to load. Finally, the game popped up. I went into the Multiplayer area, and typed up the server address for Crazypig. I joined the game. I was at the spawn of the lobby. I walked to the Atlantica portal. Atlantica is my favorite world. It used to be Pacifica, but they changed it to Atlantica. I went into Atlantica. “Hey, Phillip,” my friend said into chat. “Wanna come see my tower?” Phillip is my username.
“Sure,” I replied. I typed in the command ‘/tpa Phillip’s_Friend42’. The screen said ‘Request sent to Phillip’s_Friend42’. My friend accepted the tpa. I got teleported to my friend. That’s what tpa stands for. My friend had built a giant massive spectacular castle out of cobblestone. “That’s wonderful” I typed in chat. “Thanks,” he replied. I exited that server, and went into a new server. I typed in the address, and joined. I felt a force sucking me in. “It’s probably just the tensity of a new server,” I thought. But then, as the world was loading, I got pulled straight into darkness, and I could’ve sworn I heard a tune.
CHAPTER 2
I freaked out. I was inside Minecraft. There was no time to think, though.
I had to make a shelter from the monsters and scary creatures that
come out at night. I scanned my surroundings. I was in a grassy Plains biome with a
hill on my front, a forest on my left, and a village on my right. Behind me, there was
a lava pit, and an Extreme Hills biome farther behind. I headed towards the forest
so I could find wood to build my house. Or maybe just a cabin. Anyways, I walked
up to a tree and chopped it down. Seven wood blocks fell down. I collected them.
I crafted the blocks seven blocks of wood into twenty-eight wood planks. One
Block of wood = four wood planks. I built a frame for a small cabin around where
the forest and the plains biomes meet. I filled in the frame and crafted a crafting
table. Then I crafted two doors, and placed them. After that, I built a roof for my
cabin. But, I knew I wasn’t safe. I needed torches. I crafted a pickaxe and started
mining. I found a cave after about five minutes. It must have already been explored
because there were torches, but no ores. I decided to explore. The cave was well-lit
but still kind of dark. I looked around more, and I found something quite weird:
a ladder leading up into a building.
CHAPTER 3
I climbed up the ladder and was greeted by a voice: “Welcome to AHC!”
“Hi,” I said. There was a boy with and a girl. “This is Against Herobrine
Company or AHC.”
“My name is Linda and he is Quelor. We run this place. Herobrine planned
to teleport a random person into here, and that must be you!” said the girl.
“Wow,” I said.
“Make yourself comfortable,” said the boy.
“NOT SO SOON, you noobs,”
said a voice. I looked over. It was Steve who had said that, but Steve had glowing
yellow eyes.
“Uh-oh. That’s not Steve,” said Quelor. “It’s Herobrine!”
CHAPTER 3.141592653589793238462…
“So you’ve made a company to resist me?” boomed Herobrine. “Well, it
won’t last long!” Herobrine placed a block of TNT inside the building. Then, he lit
It.
“RUNNNN!!!” shrieked Linda. Quelor, Linda, and I sprinted away from
the room in which the TNT was placed. It blew up. There was a loud BOOM and
rubble was everywhere. The only room that had not been blown up was the control
room. The three of us dashed to the control room. I looked around. Herobrine was
nowhere in sight. I relaxed a little. Quelor was very angry though.
“My building! Seriously?!? This took me years to build!” shouted Quelor in frustration.
“Focus on staying alive. That’s more important,” commanded Linda. “But…but,” stuttered Quelor.
Linda didn’t know what to say. She decided to change the subject. “What’s
your name?” asked Linda as she gestured to me.
“Phillip,” I answered.
“Well, Phillip,” said Linda. “This red button will put up defense, and this green button will take away the defense.” I pressed the red button. A big barrier showed up on the main monitor. Laser shooters, lava holes, and chicken armies popped up as well as a metal wall on what was left of the AHC building. Linda suddenly remembered something. “Quelor, I recently made a yellow button. The yellow button will repair any damage to the tower,” exclaimed Linda.
“Cool,” answered Quelor as he pressed the yellow button. The tower suddenly repaired itself from the TNT. Linda, Quelor, and I watched the building repair itself on the monitor. “How did you program that?” asked Quelor to Linda.
“It just showed up,” replied Linda.
“That’s because I made it and it would teleport me to you!” boomed Herobrine’s voice!
CHAPTER 4
Herobrine was standing next to me. I got a close look at him. He was tall and
skinny, with a flat nose. He had a blue coat with brown pants. His hair was dark
brown and looked as if it fit perfectly on his round head. Herobrine’s head looked
like a brown bouncy ball. But the darkest thing Herobrine owned was his
personality. He was as evil as a hunter hunting an innocent beaver.
I was standing there staring at Herobrine, and I had not noticed that Quelor
and Linda had run away, yelling “Follow me, Philip!!” I looked and saw that
they had run away. I was alone with Herobrine. There was a chest on the side of the
room. I made a dash for it, but Herobrine splashed a potion of slowness on
- I was trapped! But just because I was slow, it didn’t mean the potion
lasted forever. I checked. The potion lasted for 1 minute longer. I had to
distract Herobrine. “Gobble, gobble, turkey gobble,” I said.
Herobrine was confused. “Excuse me?”
“Gobble, gobble, turkey, gobble,” I repeated. The potion had thirty seconds
left. It was working.
“Well, I’d like to have delicious turkey for dinner,” Herobrine said with a
smile. 15 seconds left. Herobrine made a leap for me. I dodged. 5 seconds left.
4 seconds left. 3 seconds left. 2 seconds left. 1 second left. 5 minutes left.
I forgot Herobrine was a magician. I’d be slow forever! I’d never get to that chest.
Unless… “You were the only person who could get the gem for me,” boomed
Herobrine. “The enderdragon has it. I can’t go to the End. If you get it, I won’t
destroy you. I can rule the world with that gem, and teleport between dimensions.”
Wait a second. I can teleport back! 5 minutes ran out. I made a run for the chest. A
diamond sword was inside it. I got it, and I prepared for battle.
CHAPTER 5
I looked at the sword closer. It was enchanted! The enchantments were
knockback 2, fire aim, and sharpness 3. Getting that sword was like a poor person
winning a billion dollars. I was so happy. Herobrine laughed at me. “Puny little
sword!”
“It has great enchantments!”
“Enchantments? Ha Ha! No magic?” Herobrine laughed. “Ready for battle?”
Herobrine pulled out his bow. A rainbow shooted out of it as it made him
levitate 5 feet into the air. The force of him going down created a massive swirl of
air, like a plane just took off there. Herobrine threw the air at me and I stumbled
back. 7 hearts of damage was depleted from my 10-heart health bar. I needed to be
careful.
“Phillip, here!” I recognized that voice. It was Quelor! Linda was standing
beside him. Quelor tossed a potion of healing at me. Then, they both sprinted away.
I drank the potion, and instantly I was at full-health again.
“How do I do this!?” screamed Herobrine in frustration. He got so angry,
that he generated a fireball. He launched it at me. I drew my sword, and reflected
the fireball. Herobrine put on some green gloves, and the fireball disappeared before
it reached him.
“You like my dissapear gloves? I’ll use them on you now,” boomed
Herobrine, laughing. I threw my sword at Herobrine. It cut his gloves right in half.
That was an excellent name, I thought. Then, I ran up to Herobrine, and swiped my
sword. His health bar depleted 10 out of 1,000. I then cut his leg off. Herobrine ran
away, in shock. Quelor and Linda ran in.
“Nice job, Philip,” congratulated Linda.
“Thanks,” I said. “Do you know where I could get enderpearls?”
“There’s an enderman catching house somewhere, but why in the world do
you want enderpearls?” asked Quelor.
“Because, if I kill the enderdragon, I’ll get teleported back home,” I replied.
“Okay, here’s a map,” said Quelor. “Good luck!” Quelor gave Phillip a map.
“Thanks,” I shouted, and ran out the front door.
CHAPTER 6
I wasn’t in a rush, so I stopped for a can of soda and a chocolate-chip
cookie on the way out. It was almost night, so when I was exiting through the door,
I rethought my options, and went to bed.
=
I woke up. It was morning. I decided that I should study the map before I
went out. There was a hill on the map. The enderman catching house was on top of
that hill. The map said I had to go through the forest behind AHC, until I found a
snow biome. Then, I would have to go on-top of the biggest hill. The enderman
house was on-top of THAT hill. I got some meat, and then I went outside the back
door. “Bye,” I shouted.
“Bye, see ya later,” I heard Quelor’s voice shout. I shut the door behind me.
I walked into the forest. It was dark and creepy. A few hours later, I heard a spider
sound.
CHAPTER 7
A run. A jog. A sprint. A dodge. A jump. A mind trick. A fight. A shout for
help. Hmmmm. Which one should I choose? I choose all of the above! I ran away.
Not a jog. Not a sprint. Just a run. But it was a long way back, and I was getting
very tired. So I slowed down to a jog. I jogged back through the forest. But the
spider was getting closer. I had to run faster. I picked up my pace to a sprint
through the forest. But I was getting so very tired. I had to stop. But the spider was
catching up. I didn’t know what to do. I stopped, and tried to catch my breathe.
The spider caught up to me. It tried to punch me, but I moved to the side, and
dodged it. The spider sneaked under me, and was going to attack from below. But
I jumped, and it missed. A fight started between me and the spider. I took out my
iron sword, feeling the cold blade. It was as powerful as a superhero. I swung
my sword.
The spider got knocked back in pain. I swung again, and again until it died.
I really felt bad for that poor creature. But either the spider will die, or I will die.
Then, an army of zombies came out of the bushes. “Help,” I called. There was no
way that I could battle all those zombies. I shivered in fright. I was doomed!
CHAPTER 8
“Hey Linda,” I called. I just heard somebody scream in help. I think Philip is
getting attacked by mobs. Mobs are nicknames for monsters. They come out at
night and attack you. Especially in the woods.
My name is Quelor. I’m Linda’s friend. I have also recently made friends
with Philip. “Uh-oh,” called Linda.
“Aren’t you going to help?” I asked.
“No way! I’m afraid of mobs. I never go out at night,” she replied
“Okay. I’ll go,” I said, and went out the back door with a bow and arrows.
I went outside. Into the woods. Going into the woods at night is as
dangerous as walking right next to a dinosaur. I walked for awhile, then I saw it. A
huge army of zombies were coming right for Philip. There were about ten or fifteen.
I got my bow ready.
CHAPTER 9
I pulled back the string. I aimed right at a zombie. I slowly released. The
arrow shot gracefully through the sky. It hit the zombie closest to Philip. The
zombie died. Wow! I never knew my bow was that powerful. I shot two more
zombies, killing them easily. I had three more arrows. I shot them, and three more
zombies died.
There were seven more zombies. I had zero more arrows. I usually pick the
arrows out of zombies, and wash them. I reuse the arrows after they are washed.
But that took time. And I don’t have time! Suddenly, an arrow shot through the sky.
I was surprised. I looked, and saw that Linda was shooting arrows through a
window on the top of AHC. Her aim was really bad because she was so far away,
but at least she had over 20 arrows. None of her arrows reached the zombies,
although some had landed next to me. I picked them up and shot the remaining
zombies.
The zombies were all dead now. “Thanks,” said Philip.
“No Problem,” I replied, and I started to walk back to AHC.
CHAPTER 10
It was dawn. I was as happy as as if I just won the lottery. The zombies were
all dead. I moved on through the woods. Two hours later, I came out of the forest,
and into the snowy biome. It was snowing, obviously. There were a lot of
snow-covered hills. But the biggest one really stuck out. Upon the biggest hill was a
strange contraption. It looked like…an…enderman catching house. I didn’t know
how to climb up it. I had a stack of wood in my inventory. I could build a ladder.
I crafted a crafting table using some wood. Then, I crafted ladders with the crafting
table. I put all the ladders up onto a cliff. I climbed up the ladders. I was at the top!
I went into the enderman catching house. It was a small shelter with an
enderman spawning room. I could easily kill an enderman. When you kill an
enderman, they drop ender pearls. You can craft ender pearls with blaze rods to get
eyes of ender. Eyes of ender are things that you throw, and they will locate the end
portal. You go in the end portal, and defeat the enderdragon. He will drop a gem
that can teleport you back to real life.
CHAPTER 11
“Hi. I’m Bob. I am a person. Sorry. I feel like I need to add some comedy to
my very sad journal. You don’t think it’s sad? Oh! Thank You! But anyway, I have
a joke. I am a fish. Ha! Ha! People might think that’s funny, but it’s not. Are lies
funny? No! And I just lied twice. The first lie was that I said I was a fish. I said
earlier that I am a human. Not a fish! The second lie was that I said at the
beginning of the chapter that my name is Bob. But it’s not! My name is Philip!
And I just lied AGAIN! My name is Joseph. I am the author. But let’s just say my
name is Philip.
Anyway, I went to the spawner room and started to kill enderman.
The enderman were easy to kill because the spawner had created them. Soon, I had
64 enderpearls. Now, I needed to go to the Nether. The Nether is a fiery, dangerous
place. But it’s the only place to get blaze rods. You get blaze rods by killing blazes.
You make a Nether portal by lighting a fire on fourteen obsidian. You can mine
obsidian using a diamond pick. You can mine diamonds using an iron pick. You
can mine iron using a stone pick. You can mine stone using a wooden pick. I guess
my first step was chopping down a tree for wood. I opened the door and found a
tree. I chopped it down. I took the seven wood blocks, and I crafted them into
twenty-eight wooden planks. I crafted some sticks, and made a wooden pick. I was
now ready to go mining.
CHAPTER 12
Grannie Yaga walked down the Peddler’s road, furious. She walked into
Wormling’s den. Wormling was king of rats. “That was a disaster,” she said. “First,
the children survived the rats and ogres. Second, Carter is nowhere to be found.”
“I know where Carter is,” replied Wormling.
“Tell me!”
“I’ll tell you if you give us rats food.”
“Fine! Here.” Grannie Yaga tossed some steak their way.
“Carter is with the Piper.”
“Liar! Why would he be with him?”
“Charms. Plus, why would I lie. All us rats want is food.”
“Fine. But if Carter is not there, you will pay! Grannie Yaga pointed a bony
finger at Wormling.
CHAPTER 13
I took my wooden pick out. I mined through the dirt, finding stone. I mined some stone. I went back up, and crafted the stone into a stone pickaxe. I mined until I found iron. I mined the iron, went back up, cooked it, and created an iron pickaxe. I mined deeper, looking for diamonds. And three hours later, I finally found diamonds! I crafted the diamonds into a diamond pick. I went back up to sea level. I went out the front door to explore. An hour later, I found a lava lake. I used a bucket to get some lava. I went back to the enderman catching house. I poured the lava. I poured some water over the lava. The lava turned into obsidian, the hardest rock in Minecraft (except bedrock). I mined the obsidian with my diamond pickaxe. The obsidian broke, VERY slowly. It took FOREVER. I gathered the fourteen obsidian. I placed four obsidian on the ground. Then, I built two poles (five blocks high). I built four obsidian on the roof, connecting the corners so it only took fourteen obsidian. I lit the frame with flint and steel, creating a purplish portal. This was a Nether portal. The Nether is a dangerous, fiery dimension. But it has a lot of necessary materials, like blaze rods. I got my strong iron sword ready, and jumped into the portal.
CHAPTER 14
Carter walked along the gravel road. “Ah, Carter! Where have you been? We were going to have a magic lesson now,” said the Piper.
“The Chillwood,” replied Carter.
“Why would you want to frost to death at that terrible place?” asked the Piper.
“Roga,” responded Carter.
“Roga? Why do you want Roga,” questioned the Piper.
“Convince her to tell Yaga I’m not here,” said Carter
“Oh! I get it. Very well. Now we have quite some time don’t we?” said the Piper.
“Yes,” replied Carter.
“Carter, you aren’t talking much! You are not normally like this!” said the Piper.
“Leetha,” responded Carter
“Oh Oh Oh. Yes, Leetha! Of course. You betrayed her, I know. But I can erase her memory!”
“No. It’s fine.”
“Watch out!”
A bunch of rats then came out of a hidden rat tunnel in the Pied Piper’s house. Rats on the Summer Isle are huge, and they use knives. Some are over seven feet tall. Many are knife-trained. They were coming straight for Carter!
CHAPTER 15
The ground started to swirl. Everything in sight turned purple. And then everything went black. “Help!” I called.
“You help me!” I heard a mysterious and big voice say. Light came in. I was in a small house. It wasn’t Minecraft, though. The portal was supposed to lead to the Minecraft Nether. But it lead to this strange mysterious-looking place.
“Help!” I heard again. I thought I’d better help them. I then saw giant rats with knives attacking two boys. “AHHHHHHHHHHHHH,” I screamed. The rats saw me. I ran as fast as my legs could carry me. Then, the rats magically disappeared. Strange.
“Magic of the Piper,” said the mysterious creature. “Now, who are you?”
“Uh, I’m… a… uh… -”
“What?”
“I’m an animal.”
“No, you’re a plant.”
I walked a few steps. “Hello? Walking? Animal?”
“Maybe now, but not in a minute.”
I felt a wind, and I was shrinking. Shrinking into a four-inch daffodil.
CHAPTER 16
Now, look back all the way to chapter three. Seriously. Look back. NOW!
DO NOT CONTINUE TO THE NEXT PAGE UNTIL YOU HAVE RE-READ IT.
Have you read it? Good. Now, you should’ve read two chapters. Were you fooled? There were two chapter threes. There was chapter three, and chapter 3.141592653589793238462643383279502884197116939937510582. Why was there a chapter 3.141592653589793238462643383279502884197116939937510582? Because it took place on Pi day. And another reason. I promise I will tell that reason by the end of the book. By the way, this book is about halfway over, so get comfortable. And you might be thinking this is a whole chapter. But no. This is an introduction to the longest chapter of the book. It’s actually not that long, since a chapter in this book is normally about a page long. Have you laughed in this book? Ha Ha! Made you laugh! I mean look! Or laugh!
Anyway, I’m a plant. I said at the beginning of this book that I was a plant. NOW do you believe me? NOW? Good.
Planty, planty,
I’m a plant,
I’m a plant,
Planty, planty,
I’m a plant,
I’m a plant
Anyway, here I am. Stuck as a plant. Nothing to do. I guess my life is over. Which means this book is over, since it’s about my life.
THE END!
-book by Joseph Kantrowitz
Wait, wait, don’t leave! There’s still hope. I saw a familiar face running to the Pied Piper. “Turn him back, Piper! I know him,” he said. I tried to think. When had I seen him. And then I remembered. That boy was Carter. Carter Schlondo. He was at my elementary school. But how did he end up in this weird magical place with the Pied Piper?
“You know him?” asked the Piper.
“Yea,” Carter replied. “He was my best friend at elementary school.”
“Fine,” said the Piper. “But I don’t know how.”
“What?” shrieked Carter.
“Yeah. Sorry. Calm down, Carter.”
Carter closed his eyes. He wished that the plant would turn back into Phillip. He concentrated really hard. I then started to grow. I let out a sigh of relief. Carter had turned me into a person.
“Congratulations, Carter” said the Piper. “You are a magician of transfiguration, now.”
“Cool,” said Carter.
“Anyway, who is he?” questioned the Piper.
“My friend. His name is Phillip,” replied Carter.
“Hello, Philip,” said the Piper.
“Hi,” I muttered. “What is this place?”
“This place or this place,” asked the Piper.
“Huh?”
“Are you talking about this land or my village?”
“This land.”
“Oh. It’s just the Summer Isle.”
“Huh?”
“You haven’t heard of the Summer Isle?”
“No.”
“Really? I don’t believe that. Carter! I think this boy is Grannie Yaga in disguise.”
“No. That’s not true!” said Carter.
“Prove it,” said the Piper.
“What’s our favorite Minecraft server?” asked Carter.
“Crazypig, Crazypig’s the best,” Carter and I chanted off of memory.
“Fine!” said the Piper. “I’ll tell you about the Summer Isle.”
CHAPTER 17
“The Summer Isle is a magical place.”
“Ha! Ha! Magic? Magic doesn’t exist!”
“Do you want me to teach you or not?”
“I want you to teach me what this place is. Not Magic!”
“This place HAS magic.”
“Magic doesn’t exist.”
“Oh really?” The Piper blew his flute. A tree then got up and danced to the music of the Piper’s flute. No personifications. No exaggerations. It actually happened. The Piper played a faster rhythm. The tree danced faster. Then, the Piper played a fast running rhythm. The tree ran fast. Towards me.
“Stop!” I cried. The tree was almost caught up to me. The Piper played a faster rhythm. The tree got ahold of me. It swirled around me, making me suffocate. It was getting tighter, and tighter.
“Help,” I called again. It was very muffled, though.
“Only if you believe magic,” said the Piper.
“Fine,” I replied. The tree was suffocating me. I had a few more seconds left to live. Then, a miracle happened. The Piper’s music got slower. I felt the tree’s grip loosen. The music got slower and slower, and eventually stopped. The tree let go of me, and went back to its original place. I was alive. I felt so relieved.
“I’ll teach you about the Summer Isle, then,” said the Piper cheerfully. Cheerfully! He almost just killed me. Crazy.
The next few hours were spent by the Pied Piper teaching me about the Summer Isle. I also taught Carter and the Piper who I was. At the end of the day, I slept in one of the Piper’s cabins, thinking about how I was going to get out of this place, and go to the Nether. I eventually came up with a great idea. I got out of bed, snuck into the Piper’s bedroom, and set his digital clock ahead four hours.
CHAPTER 18
I, the Pied Piper, awoke at seven ‘o’clock. Like normal. Of course Carter and Phillip weren’t up. They never wake up by my alarm clock. I always have to play a wake-up tune on my pipe. I started playing the tune. Then, Carter ran into the room. “You woke me up at three ‘o’clock!” said Carter.
“What! No I didn’t,” I replied. I showed him my alarm clock.
“You set it ahead four hours, fool!”
“I swear. I didn’t”
“Well, who do you think did? A ghost?”
“I don’t know.”
“Goodbye! I’m out of here!”
Carter tried to run, but I stopped him with my magic pipe. Carter then shouted some words. “Elvo-croowsho-meyno-LAM!” I shrunk, smaller and smaller. I turned into a snail. Carter had used his transfiguration magic to turn me into a snail. For, I don’t know. A day? A week? A month?
Anyway, I couldn’t chase Carter. My “prisoner” had escaped. I had no way of catching him again now. I was doomed.
CHAPTER 19
I, Phillip, looked out through the window. Carter was running through the woods. My plan had worked. Now, I needed to follow him. Then, I needed to tell him about the Nether portal. I snuck out the front door. I followed a foot behind Carter. It was kind of hard to keep up, because he was running. Also, it was 3:00 in the morning, and I hadn’t fall asleep until 11:00 that night, thinking about my plan. I was out of breath. Luckily, when I was so tired that I felt like I was going to collapse, Carter stopped.
“Hey, Carter-” I called.
Carter looked alarmed. “I didn’t see you! Why are you here, anyway?”
“Listen,” I said. “I made set the Piper’s alarm clock ahead four hours.”
“What? How could you!”
“So I could talk to you in private.”
“You should’ve just said so. Now I might get captured by Grannie Yaga.”
“Did somebody say Grannie Yaga?” said a witches’ voice.
“See what you did?” shouted Carter.
Grannie Yaga captured us, and put us in a cage. At least I thought it was a cage. It actually was an oven. “I have finally got my revenge on you,” said Grannie Yaga. “Now, time to cook.” Carter would’ve fought right now if he could. But Carter had absolutely no fighting skill. Luckily, Phillip did. Phillip took his iron sword from his pocket. He threw it at Grannie yaga. She caught it, and threw it back to him. She aimed for the heart. It was going to hit Phillip in the heart. Phillip did a 360, and caught the sword. He then used it to cut the prison open. Phillip and Carter ran out. They were relieved, but none of them knew the astonishing secret they were about to find out.
CHAPTER 20
“Hey!” said Grannie Yaga. “Don’t leave.” Grannie Yaga came up to Phillip.
“I’m armed,” said Phillip.
“With a sword. Puny little sword,” replied Grannie Yaga. I recognized that. It was what Herobrine said. “I have a secret,” said Grannie Yaga. “I have the same soul as Herobrine, but different body.”
“What!” I said, surprised. I had a feeling they were similar, though.
Suddenly, Grannie Yaga started getting all blocky. Her eyes started getting white and glowing. A creepy creature emerged. The creature like Grannie Yaga and Herobrine combined.
“Hello,” said the creature. “My name is Yagabrine, and I will finally get my revenge on you.” Yagabrine held a firebolt in his/her hand. He/she was getting ready to throw the firebolt. “It’s time,” Yagabrine said. I was going to get doomed. My life was almost over. Right when I started thinking about the memories I had in my life, I heard a tune. It was a nice catchy tune that reminded me there was still hope. But how?
I suddenly knew. The Pied Piper was playing that tune. It would lead me through the forest. I started walking in the direction of the pipe. I couldn’t help it. But there was a magic about it. No matter what Yagabrine tried, he/she couldn’t get me away from the tune. It created some sort of forcefield around me. Carter was getting carried by the Piper’s pipe, too. Soon, we were back at the Pied Piper’s house. Where we had started!
CHAPTER 21
As the pipe lead us into the house, I talked to Carter about the nether portal. I told him about how I needed to get the nether. He said he knew where the nether portal was, and if he could come with me. So Carter is coming with me to the Nether. He told the piper about it, and the Piper showed under his bed. It was a purplish sort of portal.
“That’s the Nether,” said the Piper. Carter and I jumped in. Everything went black. I couldn’t believe we were finally in the Nether. It had taken us so long to get here. The fiery, dangerous dimension then came into view. Carter and I walked along the netherrack. We found a lava ocean in our way. I used cobblestone, and I built across it. We were walking and avoiding obstacles, but there was something strange. We weren’t talking to each other. Well, we had just found out an astonishing secret, but why? Normally, we’d be chatting away on how we got here, and life, and everything we missed. But no. It felt good to be with a long lost friend, but not excited good. We came across some lava lakes, some cliffs, some caverns, but we avoided these obstacles silently. How? Why? We had said a single word to each other ever since we got to the Nether. But that word was said soon. As we walked across a hilly area of soul sand, a Nether fortress had come into a view. A Nether fortress! That was what we had be looking for.
“Wow,” I said.
“Quite,” Carter said.
| And then we headed inside the door.
CHAPTER 22
I snuck through the door, trying not to anger the blazes. I saw a blaze, a guardian of the Nether fortress, walking up to me. It launched a couple fireballs. I was lit on fire. I was at half-health now. I would die soon. I took out my iron sword. I swayed it left, then up. Yes! That was the secret movement. The secret movement that gets an army of zombie pigmen on your side. The zombie pigmen had killed the blaze in no time. I picked up the blaze rod. In a half of an hour, I had a lot of blaze rods.
“I got plenty,” I said to Carter, as we met in the main hall. I crafted them into Eyes of Ender, using the blaze rods and the enderpearls. Carter and I retraced our steps back to the portal. Then, we went in. It became black, and in a couple seconds we appeared in the enderman catching house. I threw an Eye of Ender. It floated left. So we walked left. We walked left for hours, going around lakes. jumping and climbing up and over cliffs, and chopping down trees in our way. We eventually found a cave system with a stronghold. There was a chest. Carter looked in the chest.
“Two diamond swords!” he said.
“Excellent,” I responded. Carter and I each took a sword. Next to the chest, was the End portal. I put the Eyes of Ender around, creating blackness. That blackness was the portal.
“Ready?” I asked.
“You know,” Carter replied. “I don’t really want to go to the end. It’s spooky and creepy. I’ll wait here.”
“Ok,” I responded.
And I jumped into the deep blackness of the portal. It was dark like a blind lady.
CHAPTER 23
Hi. Welcome to the frightening part of this book. BwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahaHAAA!
Anyway, time to tell you the other reason for Pi. Wait. Two more chapters, please? Pi is pie, but what does it have have to do with the book? I’ll tell you in two chapters. Is that okay? No skipping. Read these two chapters! Don’t skip ahead! Readers who skip ahead have to face the villain of the book they skipped. You don’t want to have to face Yagabrine. Seriously. He/she is CRAZY!
The only books you can read ahead are books that don’t have villains. Feel free to give me examples at the end of the book.
Anyway, the light finally filtered in, and I was in the room that you are in when you enter the portal. You normally have to use blocks to build up to the area where you fight the enderdragon. But I didn’t have blocks. I was doomed! Just because I forgot to bring blocks.
Wait. There was a staircase. It had a couple steps that lead to the top. I climbed the first step. It was quite big. The second and third steps were as big as the first. The last step was very small. It was like a fourteenth of a step. There was 3.14 steps! Ha Ha! That must’ve been a coincidence.
I reached the top. Now, I had to shoot all the health generators in the sky before I battled the enderdragon, so he didn’t regenerate. But one generator had some ladders leading up to it. The steps. The ladders. Somebody must’ve been here before. But who? If somebody was here before, the enderdragon probably would’ve been dead. But it wasn’t. Strange.
I climbed up the first ladder. It was big. The next two ladders were the same size as the first. But the last ladder was very small. It was a fourteenth of a ladder. 3.14 ladders. 3.14 stairs. Strange. I thought it must be a coincidence, and I moved on. I hit the generator. It exploded. I fell down. Into darkness. The void. The void that kills you. I was doomed
CHAPTER 24
The void is pure blackness. Black so black that it instantly kills you. I was falling straight into the void. I saw light escaping my eyes. It was really dark. But then it got worse. It got so dark that I didn’t even know life existed. The darkest thing I’ve ever seen. As I fell into darkness, I smelled yummy Pi. I knew I was just imagining things, though. My life was over.
Wait. A ray of light streamed in. It looked VERY bright compared to the void. But how? The void instantly kills you. How did I end up with light? What was the light? Who made the light? How? So many questions. All about to be answered.
I fell down onto a platform. It was the End platform like above. But below. I knew I probably had to do the same thing. So I got my bow out and aimed at a pole. I let go of the bow, and an arrow shot through the sky, and hit a health generator. Perfect aim.
Now, four more to go! I shot another arrow. Miss. It hit an enderman, angering the whole pack. Now, I had a bunch of angry enderman. Great.
I shot two more generators, but then two enderman teleported in front of me. The first one hit me with its long arms. The second one placed a block of sand, and tried to suffocate me. Annoying little guys. I shot one more arrow. It hit another health generator.
Another enderman came up to me. But I noticed I had armor! And guess what? It was enchanted with enderman control. Linda had given me this as a gift. I had forgot. I put it on. Immediately, all the angry enderman disappeared. Satisfied, I shot the final health generator. It was now time to fight the enderdragon.
I shot an arrow at it. Upon noticing, it launched a fireball at me. I ducked. This was gonna take awhile. I shot it twice more. But he came down, and shot a fireball at me. It knocked me off straight into the void. The void! Not the void again!
I grabbed hold of the enderdragon’s skin. I knew it would never work, know. It’s skin was surprisingly very loose. It was coming off. Usually, the enderdragon doesn’t have skin this loose. The skin entirely fell off!
I was lifted into the air and onto land. This wasn’t the enderdragon. It was Yagabrine in an enderdragon costume! He/she had fallen out of her costume!
CHAPTER 25
Now, I said two chapters earlier that I would reveal the PI thing now. Remember the Pi ladders and stairs a couple chapters ago. Hmmmm… How strange.
“I am now going to finally finish you off,” boomed Yagabrine, as he/she tossed a bomb at my feet. It exploded, and I jumped away just in time. Yagabrine shot a laser ray at me. I pulled out my shield just in time, and I blocked it, though. I knew I could not survive like this for long.
“Phillip,” boomed Yagabrine. “I will freeze the end. You will freeze to death.” Yagabrine moved into a giant oven. It was getting cold. I could not survive like this for long. It was getting so cold I couldn’t stand it. It was like I was stuck in an ice cube, and it was -50 degrees out. I was doomed!
But then I had an idea. An idea that would not possibly work. But it was still worth a try. I got some ice from the ground, and shoved it into a piece of Yagabrine’s giant oven. It stopped working. I started to run away. Yagabrine saw me and chased me.
Perfect. Part of my plan. I ran around a couple loops, barely outrunning her. Her hunger was getting lower. She took out a pie. It duplicated into another pie. She was about to put the original back, when I ate a slice. Yagabrine yelped in pain. I figured her strength was Pi. Pi and pie. So her weakness must be me eating that master pie. I ate another slice. Yagabrine yelped in pain, again. I ate more pie. Soon, it was one slice to being finished. I ate another slice, and I heard the loudest scream of pain ever, and Yagabrine died. I picked up the gem, and a book which had fallen from him/her! I quickly jumped into the portal, before I froze to death.
CHAPTER 26
Now you know what Pi is all about. But how was it related to chapter 3.141592653589798462…? Because that was the first chapter that I met Herobrine.
Anyway, I went into the portal. Compared to the void, it looked kind of light actually. I appeared back in the room with the enderportal. Carter was reading a book, waiting for me. The second I appeared he shut his book, and asked, “How did it go, Phillip?”
“Great,” I answered. I then told Carter the whole story.
“Wow,” Carter said when I finished. “Now lets see what the book is.” He opened the front cover of the book, and we both read it:
We arrived here at the End before you did.
We naturally made the ladders and stairs,
And the enderdragon dropped the gem.
How strange. We were about to use
it to destroy the world,
But then you came.
So we quickly got into our costume,
And got ready for battle.
The reason I wrote this was because….
…I need you to take my side.
Now Philip, if I have been defeated,
YOU must destroy Carter!
Now do it!!!!
Carter and I laughed. “No way,” I said.
“But now how do we use the gem,” asked Carter.
“Hmmmm…,” I said. “Let’s figure it out.
Carter and I both touched the gem. A purple giant thing was right in my face. Everything started to spin. Everything looked purple. Everything purpled out. Then, there was light. Light so bright that it looked like the sun. My own house.

Minecraft time is different than real-life time. It had only been two hours since I got teleported in.
“Phillip, guests are here! Come down!” my mom called.
“Guests? What guests?” I thought. I walked down the stairs, curious. I saw three familiar faces. It was Quelor, Carter, and Linda. I greeted them. “How did you get here, Quelor and Linda?” I asked.
“The gem will teleport two holders, and two random people,” Linda replied.
“I can’t believe my luck!” I thought. “ Well, welcome in,” I said.
We played some boardgames and card games, then Quelor said that I should write a book about my experience So I did. And it’s this. But I’m afraid that this book is now over. Goodbye!
THE END!!!!

Here’s one of my sister’s writing. It’s not at all like mine.
